WHAT FABRICS TO USE + KITS

Want to take the page out of these books? Louisa Creations Co. has throw kits (click here) for the sample below! They’re also the same colors I used for the Plot Twist version!

I used Kona colors for the cover sample and once again, quilted by the very talented Lilo of Trace Creek Quilting (if you’re looking for a longarmer, she’s a gem!):

Fabrics: Kona Berry, Prussian, Teal Blue, Yarrow, Cedar, Cayenne, Pansy, Fog, Seafoam, Mustard, Cheddar, Salmon, Bone

The best part about the quilting community is that you get to connect with the best kind of people. ABOUT THE PATTERN

Story Hour is a nod to my love of all things books. Growing up, it was a treat to use the library card catalog, to sign my name on the checkout card, to go on the occasional trips to the bookstore (I grew up in the 90s so it was mainly B. Dalton, Borders, or B&N), to smell a brand new book. I shared a room with my siblings throughout my childhood so it was common to find 10-year-old me sitting on the lid of the toilet seat for some quiet reading time 🤪
